ICEBREAKER DISCUSSION:
1. If you knew you only had 30 days to live, what would look different about your live over the next month?
We should all be living our lives in a way that we are cooperating with all God has in store. There are so many wonderful treasures that await our obedience to Jesus!
Heb 10:23-25 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. NIV
DISCUSSION QUESTION:
2. If you were describing “next level” you what would be one thing about your “next level life” that would be different?
It is God’s plan for us to grow in grace and in knowledge of Christ. This is a directive we find in Scripture.
2 Peter 3:18 Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! NIV
It is expensive to be effective. There is a cost to living a life that leaves a mark and makes a difference. This looks different for every person but it is God’s plan for everyone of us.
DISCUSSION QUESTION:
3. What is the difference between expensive and priceless?
As we’ve been hearing about the Destiny Christian Leadership Institute we’ve learned there is tuition for this kind of formal training. There is an eternal value that comes with growing in your faith. To view this correctly we must see it as priceless rather than expensive. It is our church’s goal that everybody who wants this kind of training can receive it. There are avenues of assistance for those needing help financially to receive this kind of training.
