Military planners require an environment of air superiority as a necessity for successful military campaigns. The highest level of Air Power, Air supremacy, allows ground forces to be most effective. Air power is a very important element of warfare. In Spiritual warfare, prayer is taking control of the air space so the ground troops can be effective.

It seems that every person has the ability to suddenly turn into a performer when they hear the right song. Music has this amazing ability to awaken something within all of us.

The more distracted and stressed we become the less we are inclined to hear God’s voice in our daily lives. God’s Word clearly reveals that revelation is born from rest.

Effectively discipling begins in the home! For the Jews the ministry center of the family is the home. For Christians the ministry center has become the church. Making disciples begins in the home. Family meals, communion, prayer, Bible reading and overall time together as a family.

Submission is such an interesting word. Anybody who has ever parented children knows there is a difference between submission and compliance. Compliance does what has to in order to get you off my back. Submission embraces the heart and intent behind the request being made.

Learning about and participating in the generous nature of God is very important to our lives, our legacy and our world.

However far you’ve gone with God there is more! God desires you to be hungry, expecting and even desperate.

Are you where you want to be in your life, in your faith, in your relationships, etc? Is your life your promised land? God is always challenging us to deeper places in him and in his family. We must make the choice to be deliberate about growing deeper.

We are to be rooted and we are to be grounded in love. Not either but both. Rooted is an agricultural term while grounded is an architectural term. Agriculturally we understand you can’t have fruit before you take root. Architecturally we understand the building cannot be built until the foundation this established. Both of these ideas speak of that which is unseen taking place before that which is seen emerges.
