Are you where you want to be in your faith? Would you classify your life as a promised land?

Stir up your passion to pursue God and his plans for your life! It’s never too late to be what you might have been. So you've made mistakes and may not be where you want to be. Keep writing a story that will inspire others beyond disappointment to destiny!

Hunger for God marks us as a church! The Destiny family is not casual about the things of God and we understand that pursuit is proof of passion! You can hear the desperate hunger in David’s expressions of his pursuit throughout Psalms.

Ps 63:1-6  O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water…6 I think of you through the watches of the night. NIV

Ps 119:148  My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.  (NIV)

Have you experienced waking up through the night longing for the night to be over so you could go and meet with God? Are you hungry for more of what God has in store?

Priorities are not priorities unless we pursue them more than other things. Purposing to have energy for those things you call a priority is what makes them a priority. If you are calling something a priority but you don't have time for it then call it something else. It's not a priority.

If we’re not careful we let the culture define us into being spiritually impoverished. It is culturally common to have the feeling of not enough. We wake up feeling like we didn’t get enough sleep. We go through day feeling like we don’t have enough time. We go to bed feeling like we didn’t get enough done.

Don’t live a live that is spiritually impoverished because you’ve not prioritized personal spiritual development. Our appetites are key to unlocking our destiny. You will not pursue what you do not desire. You will not possess what you do not pursue.

The quantity of milk from a nursing mother is contingent on the appetite of the child. Her ability to supply is determined by the level of hunger.

When the Bible says for us to taste and see that the Lord is good it’s not expressing a “wait and see” attitude. This is about getting to the table and tasting his goodness!!! Dreams are not born out of indifference, laziness or lack of ambition. Dreams are born out of a strong desire. God’s desires produce more meaningful lives.

What are you in to? Are you in to hunting, sports, vacation? Whatever you are in to gets into you. If you get in to God’s Word then God’s Word will get in you and when that happens you become a weapon in the hand of God! Your world begins to change in every direction!

Developing your mind spiritually is vital to your spiritual well-being. The mind is a lot like a muscle and it gets strengthened when you exercise it. Romans 8 talks about carnally minded people whose minds are not set on the things of the spirit. They’re just in to other things.

It’s not that carnally minded people disagree it’s just that they tend to disconnect. We start praying and they wear out quickly suddenly distracted with other things. It’s not that you’re against Jesus it’s just that you’ve not been engaged in the Word, in prayer and with God’s family. You just don’t seem to get out of it what others do. When your spirit man is underdeveloped spiritual things are like a workout and you simply wear out quickly.

You were not born for your pleasure. You were born for God’s purposes! The focus of your mind determines the priorities of your future.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Your decisions determine destiny
